COOK, EAT, BOND!
 

Cooking is my passion.   I dabbled in the kitchen since the age of five under the strict supervision of my grandma and mama, who were both a master of their own cuisines.

 

The Chinese connects each other with food.  Be it a casual catch up, occasions for celeberation, reunion/mourning, business dealing or even a country event, food becomes an integral part of life.

 

As for our family, dinner is the time that we sit  together for a chat, sharing the interesting things of the day and savoring the homecooked food together. These bonding experiences always bring back fond memories no matter how far away we are from home, afterall, mama's food is the best!

 

I would like to encourage people to cook.  With this in mind, I have think of some simpllified recipes that do not compromise on taste for the beginners, students, busy working individuals and of course, multi tasking mothers! One more thing, we shall keep the washing to the minimum! Now, isn't it fantastic?

 

We shall see cooking as simple and fun.  We can eat well on budget too!  Let's start!
